Stockyards Brick Company was founded in the fall of 2013. Located in the heart of the Chicago’s famous Union Stockyards they have continual access to some of the city’s most desired salvageable materials. Working with salvage and demolition companies along with their own knowledgeable staff, Stockyards Brick have made recycling, repurposing, and reuse of these valuable resources possible by reclaiming vintage brick and other materials from structures scheduled for demolition throughout the Midwest. They are committed to the idea of sustainable living and all of our materials are from old structures, leading to not only unmatched beauty but also LEED certification of the buildings they work with.
Stockyards Brick & Timber reached out to Robotoaster looking for a website refresh. After some strategic meetings and discovery sessions with Stockyards we decided that an overall brand refresh was in need. We started by updating Stockyards’ logo and overall color palette. RT then conceptualized an about video and captured a mass of photos to be used throughout the website and marketing materials.
Along with this, Rt wireframed, designed and built Stockyards e-commerce marketing site from the ground up utilizing the newly updated brand. The site was simple, rustic and fully responsive for all devices. The website included an e-commerce store, allowing Stockyards to sell their leading products directly to the consumer. The site is currently still managed and updated by Robotoaster.
